HTC Desire 728 dual sim with 5.5-inch HD display launched in China

HTC has added a new smartphone to its Desire protfolio with the launch of Desire 728 dual sim in China. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC's Sense UI on top and sports front-facing HTC BoomSound speakers complemented by Dolby Audio. 

The HTC Desire 728 dual sim features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor with Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB RAM. Internal storage capacity is 16GB, further expandable via 2TB via microSD card. 

Camerawise, there is 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and 5-megapixel selfie camera. Both front and rear camera can record videos up to 1080p. For connectivity there is 4G LTE, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a-GPS. A 2800mAh battery fuels the device which supports Quick Charge. It comes in White and Grey flavors.

The HTC Desire 728 dual sim is priced at 1699 Yuan ($ 267 | Rs. 18,000). It is currently up for pre-order in China via HTC eShop, and will start shipping by mid-September. No word on the global roll out yet.
