HTC J Butterfly HTV31 gets official in Japan

HTC in partnership with Japanese operator KDDI announced the launch of new Butterfly series smartphone dubbed HTC J Butterfly HTV31. It is expected to release in the Japanese market in early June.

The HTC J Butterfly HTV31 sports a 5.2-inch WQHD (1440x2560 pixels) SLCD3 display and is powered by 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor (2GHz + 1.5GHz) paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM.

The smartphone comes with 32GB internal storage microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top.

Camera features include 20-megapixel Duo Camera with dual LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities. On the front there is a 13-megapixel camera.  It supports LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, and NFC connectivity.


It also comes with dual front-facing speakers and has Dolby audio support and is IPX5, IPX7 certified for water and dust resistant.

A 2700mAh battery fuels the HTC J Butterfly HTV31 that supports quick charging. It sports a polycarbonate body, measures 151x73x10.1mm, weighs 162 grams and comes in red, blue or white color options with glossy finish on back.
